AI With Altaz (“the app”, “we”) provides a read-only inbox for Instagram direct messages received by a connected Instagram professional account. This page explains what data the app accesses, why, and how you can remove it.
Connecting your account
You connect an Instagram professional (business or creator) account voluntarily, through Instagram's official OAuth flow. You choose whether to connect, and you can disconnect at any time.
What we access and why
When you connect an account, we use the access you grant only to provide the inbox feature:
- basic account information (account ID and username) to identify the connected account;
- incoming direct messages sent to the connected account, so they can be shown in the inbox.
We do not use connected-account data for any other purpose.
What we store
- the connected account's identifier, username, and the access token required to receive messages;
- message data — message content, sender ID, message ID, and timestamp — stored so that it can be displayed in the inbox;
- webhook events received from Meta, stored to process and troubleshoot message delivery.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not send messages, post content, or take any action on your Instagram account.
- We do not use message content for advertising or profiling.
Service providers
Data is stored with the infrastructure providers that run the app (application hosting: Vercel; database: Supabase). It is not shared with other third parties except where required by law.
Disconnecting and deletion
You can disconnect the app at any time from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites) to revoke its access. You can also request deletion of stored data — see the Data Deletion page.
